Moment from the ceremony of the European Business Awards
The European Business Awards present the ‘Ruban D’Honneur’, which is based on the principles of innovation, business excellence and sustainability, and constitute a major platform for Europe’s more dynamic and competitive firms.
DTS Oabe has been selected from among more than 3,500 companies across Europe: a further international accolade to add to others of great importance, with such highlights as the European Business Award for the Environment received in 2006 and the company’s election as a full member of the World Technology Network during the summit held in San Francisco (California, USA), for its firm commitment to sustainable development.
The jury for these European awards considers that DTS Oabe has had a major impact, and mentions its latest product, a lacquer insecticide that is neither toxic nor inflammable and does not emit atmospheric gases.
DTS Oabe is a laboratory that develops, manufactures and markets biocide products for environmental and food safety, the control of legionella, and wood protection.
Innovation and an ongoing process of product review combine with this company’s remit to be compatible with the environment and environmental sustainability policies.
DTS OABE is certified accordingly to the Spanish ECODESIGN management system (UNE Standard 150301:2003) in the field of Design and Development of Biocide Products for Environmental Safety and Food Hygiene, which makes it the first company in the sector to be awarded this certification.
